Description
PREREQUISITE: Student must already be certified as an NRA Range Safety Officer as well as being an NRA Certified Instructor. If you are not already certified as an NRA Instructor, please call ahead for times to schedule the 6-hour BIT course. We will offer the pre-requisite course of Range Safety Officer at Texas Tactical on March 31st , 2023.
WHAT YOU LEARN: This course teaches how to qualify and instruct YOUR RSO’s. You will be presenting from the NRA RSO packets the lessons on: the role of Range Safety Officers (RSO’s), range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), range safety briefings, range inspections and rules, emergency procedures, and how to clear firearm stoppages and malfunctions. You will also learn how to report the training and send in the necessary forms for RSO candidates to get certified by the NRA.
WHEN: Saturday April 1st, 2023. Start Time 8:00am Sharp and ends at approximately 7pm.

- Pen/note paper/highlighter
- RSO packet you received from your Basic RSO course
- YOUR NRA CREDENTIALS CARD if you are already an instructor
COST: $185 for CRSO only. You must take the BIT if you are not already a Certified Instructor. Please call for a time to take BIT (6 hours).
