NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course  

8-HOUR CLASS COST: $225 –
SCHEDULED May 2 & 3, 2025

In order to be able to attend this course you must complete a MANDATORY pre-requisite Basic Pistol – Course.  We will host a course at Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds on March 28, 2025.  You may take another Course if you choose to, but you will need to shoot for qualification with us at some point before the Instructor Course. 

 WHAT YOU LEARN:

• How to teach Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling,
• Rifle Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling,
• Ammunition Knowledge,
• The Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting.

WHAT YOU GET:  NRA Basic Pistol handbook, safety rules flier, and other literature.

WHEN:  May 2 & 3, 2025.

WHERE: Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds, 7282 N. FM 51, Decatur, TX  76234.

BRING:

• Pen/Notepaper
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Hat
• Your favorite most accurate pistol to shoot the qualification.
• Minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition
• YOUR NRA CREDENTIALS CARD if you are a member. You will need your NRA membership number to complete your paperwork.
